I sat alone again tonight
while you stood around and laughed
as if the world was all okay today
and all the wrongs were right.

while you sat down afar
as if I didn't exist today
or you just couldn't care.

while you lay down somewhere
and sleep in peaceful silence
without a thought or care.

and drown my sorrows in song.
